POLICIES
Only
antique, vintage and repurposed collectible items and original artwork are
permitted for inclusion in the show. It
will be promoted as a marketplace with purveyors of antique, vintage and repurposed
items such as furniture, home goods and decor, architectural elements,
tools, jewelry, clothing, gadgets, collectibles and more, as well as local artists.
Vendors with any other type of merchandise
(i.e., reproductions, crafts, new merchandise, garage-sale items, etc.) will be
asked to leave. All vendors are
responsible for paying State of Kentucky Sales Tax at 6%, so price accordingly.
Unloading
and set up is 7:00 a.m. As this is a residential area,
no unloading or set up is allowed beforehand.
Vendors may temporarily stop in the street near their booth to unload. Please put on your flashers. If traffic cannot get around you, temporarily
stop unloading and move your vehicle. We
are sorry, but no vehicles are allowed on the island. After unloading, please move your vehicle to
a parking space, then set up. The City
of Covington Police will strictly enforce these policies. Any vendor violating this policy will forfeit
their space and fee for that month. The
City of Covington reserves the right to cancel future shows if there are
multiple complaints.
The
show is 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. We respectfully
ask vendors to stay until the end (unless there are dangerous weather
conditions). A show may be cancelled due
to inclement weather at the discretion of the presenter; refunds for inclement
weather are at the sole judgment of the presenter.
Spaces
will be marked with your name on the ground by the night before the show. We will have an information booth on the day
of the show if you need assistance in finding your area or if you have not
signed up. If you have not signed up,
you’ll need to do so and pay before setting up.
DIRECTIONS
From
I-75/I-71, take the Covington 5th Street Exit #192, and go east to Main
Street. Turn right and go one block to
6th Street. From Downtown Cincinnati,
head west on 3rd Street, and go left onto the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge. Go straight ahead to 6th Street. Free parking is available in the 5th Street
Parking Lot between Philadelphia and Main Streets or on the street.
WAIVER OF LIABILITY
The Village Vintage & Art Bazaar producers, Donna
Kremer and Brenda Zechmeister, the MainStrasse Village Association, and the
City of Covington are not responsible for any injury, loss, theft or damage to
your property, person, or customers resulting from your participation in this
event.
